It should be stamped on the top strut mount under the hood. At least my Lightening Blue '07 MCS did.

I am colorblind but I'm pretty sure it's not silver.

MINI had a few other R56 colors besides Sparkling Silver with silver in the name that weren't a traditional silver color like Velvet Silver Metallic and White Silver Metallic.

Is this a car you can look under the hood or get the VIN from? The best way to find out the color is to run the last 7 digits of the VIN on an online decoder. This will give you the factory build information for the car including color, options, and packages.

Also, there was a color name and code sticker on the passenger side front strut tower of the 1st gen MINI's. You can check there, or around the engine compartment for the color code decal.

CaerbanogRabbit, there was something familiar about your forum handle so I had to look it up. Still laughing at the memory of a classic bit of comedy.
