A good scope should be able to see a lot and for something like this they should show you so you can make a decision.

I do my own work but Keeler in Albany is where I would go for a diagnosis from a mini dealer, Otherwise I only know a few speed shops for dyno tuning and such, Tri state lke NY,NJ,CT.

How much time and interest do you have I may be able to clear a bay and Im in a build now Ill measure it but not sure.

You can buy a bore scope for about $100. Invest in one yourself And check it out
