Have a 2007 N12 engine. Keep getting code 02891 Inlet Camshaft to Crankshaft Correlation.

I have double checked timing with tool and it is good. Have switched inlet and exhaust vanos and still get code. Have switched inlet and exhaust cam sensors and still get message.

Any ideas and if you have had this message please report the fix.

I was also wondering if this could be because for a month or more the car was running about a tooth off in timing. Now that it is in time could the code be because of an adaption value in the DME???
