Clutch Slipping, advise needed.

My '07 MCS is due for a new clutch...fun. It has 80,000 miles/114,000 kms. My questions are:
Will the Flywheel need to be replaced too?
What Clutch should I buy?
What else should I get done while half of the car is disassembled?
Thanks!!

Flywheel replace? Depends on its condition. Most likely will, won't know until you take it apart. Considering the labor involved, I'd replace it. If a DD, I'd just go OEM..

yes..most likely... especially since it's slipping....if you catch it as soon as worn sometimes you can reuse it. but even then, depends on how it was driven, and a bit of luck....and sometimes, it's best just to start out new and fresh on such a labour intensive job unless diy'ing it.

About 15,000 miles ago my throw-out bearing was toast, the labor to remove the transmission is enormous and something you don't want to pay twice. These dual mass flywheels aren't serviceable and are prone to failure since there two pieces that separate when there are worn. My flywheel was making a clunking sound at idle with only 50,000 miles on it.

We recommend replacing the flywheel whenever doing a clutch on any car with a dual mass flywheel, they are prone to failing as was stated and it's not really a job you want to do twice.

As for additional jobs while the car is apart; Taken with a grain of salt of course

Clutch Kit
Powerflex front control arm bushings
Helix intercooler
Hella horns
Short shifter
DDM exhaust

^^All of which are going to be quite easy to do while in service mode^^
