Clutch noise

Did some searching, couldn't come up with much. '12 MCS 33k miles, not driven real hard. I noticed the other day that when I let off of the clutch, about 1/3 of the way up I feel and hear a clicking noise. Happens when the car is off and on and when changing gears. Feels almost like something is very so slightly sticking. When off, with the door open, it is definitely heard outside the car. Any thoughts? I've read similar things but a lot mentioned that they also had some side to side play with the clutch pedal, not the case with mine. Just the one click sound and feeling on my foot when it does that. Seems to drive fine, no change in the clutch effort. Concerned because of the low-ish mileage and that I don't really beat on it. Thanks

The clutch when you press it in on the throw out bearing will make a slight click noise very light. How loud is the noise ? Video?

Low mileage and not older model, and happening when engine is shut off.

Maybe just check the pedal's bushings and the return spring...get a good flashlight, lay on your back on drivers side floor. Articulate the pedal and look to see what's happening under there.

Tried taking a video, trouble uploading it. It only made the noise when releasing the clutch, not when pushing it in. So I went for a drive to see if I could describe the issue better, after about 5-6 minutes of driving, it went away and I could not get it to click again. It was kind of a sticking sensation when letting off the clutch and it was doing it in all gears. Its 65 out here so the car warmed up fairly quickly but should I still worry about this? I did notice it was enough to make the 1-2 shift hard to keep real smooth. I don't know what warming the car up would do to stop the noise and sticking point sensation?

Does it sound like a clicking nose coming from the clutch pedal itself. Neutral safety switch ? Are you sure its outside or footwell only ? Only thing i can think of is the throw out bearing sticking on the guide sleeve ?

I could hear it more with the driver door opened. Just went for a drive again after it cooled down and it never made the noise again, not even at the start. Strange. Fingers crossed it was maybe just something lodged and it finally loosened and came out. Thanks! I'll post back if it returns

Where is the throw out bearing located? I'm not even sure what to look for if it happens again...

Its on the guide tube in the transmission, it will sometimes make a rattle or noise, I have heard them go out with low miles, also you can feel them in the pedal when you push it, also in the pedal movement they can side weird on a worn or etched guide tube as well as the pressure plate. You cannot see it. You can feel and hear it. Only way to really see it is pull take off the transmission from the engine.
