projector f56 style headlight recommendations?

I have a 2013 with halogens and am looking to get f56 style replacements. Are the Spyder Projectors (i think these are them: http://www.outmotoring.com/black-hea...5-6-7-8-9.html) the best ones? Is there another brand I should look at? Also are the halogen and Xenon models the same aside from the washer pop out? Thanks in advance, just want to get some answers before dropping $500 on something

From my understanding if you have halogen currently you will have to get the Spyder halogens. You can retrofit to the xenon but it's expensive!

I put the in the mini 25w xenon on my r56. Nearly $1k but I can see now!

Are the halogens and xenon like different connectors or something?

Did u have to flash the dme or something? Just plug in and get reprogrammed right? Probably worth the money as the halogens are trash.

The xenons require ballast. These have the ballast built in. You will need reprogramming. Mine is a 2009 LCI and a dealer will sell you a new frm module. If you know someone who can code new frm is not required.

I purchased mine from WMW and had him install.

Yes,

There is a flap ( like the factory Bi xenons ), for both the Xenons set up and Halogen set ups.

So, ECS, the same bulb provides the light, but there is a moving aperture that covers part of the bulb when in low beam, correct? Is this a dual-filament set-up, or a single, that relies only upon the aperture being moved? Sorry is these are stupid questions. But, here's the deal: If and when I upgrade to your lights, can I use an LED "bulb" to achieve the same cutoff on low-beam, and open it up when high beam is selected, for max lighting? This is my intended route, if so. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay, just saw this. Yes, just like factory Bi Xenons. Single filament.

You can do an aftermarket LED bulb if you want, its a focused beam on the lows also. . We dont carry them.
