Changed fuel filter - won't start
Changed the fuel filter on my 09 mini. It won't start. The engine teased me twice when I tried to start it. Otherwise, it just keeps clicking. The right side fuel side made some noise. I tried to pull the hose out, and fuel came out when I tried to start it.
I put in all the o rings. I have more than 3/4 of gas.
Please help! My wife is going to kill me...

I took it all off after it didn't work.
one of the issues I did have, was to get the case back on. I had to use a channel lock to get it on. It took a lot of effort. I then had to use a strap wrench to hold the bottom and a chain wrench to tighten the top. This also, required two people. Is this normal?

Also, while trying to get the top and bottom tight, a piece of plastic broke off and fell down into the tank. Is this going to mess something up?

So, after reading through every page of this thread:

I noticed several people who had problems with their o-rings being wrong. They all bought Vaico. I didn't, I bought Bosch. However, after spending 6 hours of trying to get this to work - doing the whole thing over twice and it still not starting, I tried to use the old big o-ring. The top was so much easier to put back on. The whole thing took a little more than 30 minutes, and then it worked.
Lesson learned: For fuel filters, do not buy any brand (not even Bosch) except genuine Mini.
