Any value in performance ignition kit?

Is there any real value in a performance ignition kit? It will be going on a 2010 R56S. Idea is to have a stage two tune done by Manic over the summer. Below is a link to a kit I found rather quickly. Are there better ones than others or will its effect be negligible? Thanks for the help everyone.

Read post #14 https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...sma-coils.html

TLDR, your money is better spent elsewhere.

Just replace the coil and plugs with stock, then when you get a tune you have a good set in. We are running a sale on the Assembled by ecs kit right now.

How many miles you have on the old plugs, if due , change them.

Get the special socket linked above , it will be needed for the OEM plugs. I have it and use it,

I am second owner with about 65,000 miles. Don't know if the plugs have ever been changed. No misfires to speak of, only "hiccups" I have noticed I believe to be a HPFP very slowly going, if it is plugs that would be fantastic. I have been thinking of swapping out with new recently.

I did mine at about 70k on the MCS, I do the plugs only on the JCW every 30K like MINI recommends.
