Air Cleaner: socket size

The stealership wanted $200 to replace the engine air cleaner element and cabin element in my daughter's 2012 MCS.

I'd rather go visit her at school and do it myself.

Wondering if anyone can let me know the size of the socket that is required to remove the top of the air cleaner?

Any other hints for either job?

Cheers!

Not sayin but I taught my daughter to use tools when she was 9 and she never called me once while she was in school! BTW she just graduated with a 3.9 gpa

Thanks guys!

Already located those 2 videos but I don't recall that the size of the socket was identified.

My daughter could do this if I didn't want to use it as an excuse to go visit her at UC Davis, before she graduates a quarter early...

Twister: congrats on your daughter's graduation!!!
