Engine Badge question?

My 2007 MCS doesn't have a Mini Logo on the engine cover. I've seen some that do and some other years that don't. What's the deal with that?? Thank you.

They have it , most likely when the valve cover was changed due to a leak , someone did not order and install a new one and the new valve cover does not come with stickers or emblems.

See below:

We have them here and all the sticker and emblems as the new vales covers don't include them. Unless you spilled oil there or something greasy it most lily the valve cover. 11127646555

And the little yellow ignition coil sticker looks to be part #71227618790

No worries. You can buy the badge separately and install it onto your cover if you want it. The badge can be purchased HERE. Let me know if you have any questions.

The badge that goes onto the actual valve cover does have a different part number and is here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Inf...94-876-M26.htm.

Here are the part numbers for the other badges (like the one above) for the boot, bonnet, etc. in case anyone else is curious: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...-7-594-876-M26 All Genuine MINI items.

Thats the badge for the outside onebay and I wonder if that would even hold onto the valve cover with the heat and the consistent temperature changes.
