Oil drain plug washer

Recently bought a nice 2009 MCS and promptly took it out and hit a raccoon. Somehow the only damage was to the lower grill and I broke the axillary water pump. Literally broke one hose nipple off of the pump. Anyways, I am changing the oil while I'm into it and was wondering if a flat copper drain plug washer will work in place of the crush type? Nearest dealer is 75 miles away and I have a couple new filters that I got with the car so buying a new filter just to get the plug gasket doesn't make a lot of sense. Also can't justify driving to the dealer for such a small part. Does any other car use the same size crush washer?

Thanks.

New washer should be in the box with the new filter. (unless you just got a bunch of filters.)

But nothing unique about a drain plug washer. IIRC it's like 12mm? I've never really checked. Besides, You can probably get away with reusing it once.

Is it an actual crush washer or the solid copper type? I have a Subaru aluminum crush and also a solid copper one here/ Will either work?
Thanks

Can order a few here to keep them handy when it comes to doing oil changes.

We have them here, its a cooper crush washer, as posted above by capt_bj. On the Genuine MINI filter kit , it comes with one and on the aftermarket Mann and Mahle, its separate.

All discussed Here:

Make sure that you check to see your radiator support isn't broken. I ran over an animal, and it broke the lower bumper painted portion off (under the lower grille), and pushed the radiator support back into the aux water pump. The fan housing was also broken, that was what actually contacted the water pump. It turned into a decent amount of work to get it fixed.

Thanks but I didn't find any more damage than that. Can't for the life of me figure out what happened. I did find one paw stuck under the car and he had only one finger stuck out . I won't say which one but I don't think he was happy!!!
