Got the engine removed and striped down, replaced the exhaust valves and resurfaced the rest, everything was looking good until I turned the head over and found asmall steel bee bee on my bench, I know it came out of a hole in the head but which one? anybody run across that before?

Send me a photo. Ive got a couple heads we can come pair photos of
My girl just sent me a photo. Im at work. It appears theres only one ball that plugs a hole. And its located over by the head bolt that outside the head by itself. On the back side or intake side of the head.
hope you can see the pic, you can see the 2 bearings in the holes they are larger then the one I found, the only other hole is the one with the cut out around it, I hate to put in the wrong place.

Look at the head gasket relative to that hole. Then look at the block. See if that other is a drain hole. Send a photo of the ball bearing as well. If you decked that head enough to knock that bearing out, it got chopped pretty good.
Thanks for the pic. I posted a pic of the head in my gallery, Mine has those two ***** still in it, I'm thinking maybe the hole streight down from it in the pic. with the bevel cut around it
