So, PepBoys DIDN'T have them in stock after verifying over the phone they did. Customer service blows at that place besides, will not be returning.

Did manage to to get some Denso plugs as a last resort and got them installed. The idle is much improved but I'm still getting P0300 and P0303 CELs. It's consistently those two now. Also getting a B2AAA but I assume that's from the jerkiness causing it to throw the body CEL.

After checking and replacing all 4 spark plugs, cylinder 3 was by far the worst. Just black and sooty whereas the others were more normal-wear-looking.

You guys have any other ideas before I throw in the towel?

Edit: After doing some searching through the forums, I'm starting to wonder about the HPFP. Mini did extend warranty on these, correct?

Well ladies and gents, had it towed to the local Mini dealer. We'll see where it goes from here.

Got a call from the dealer, said it was the coil. I'd mentioned to them that I switched coil 3 & 4 and the tech was saying the misfire is now throwing codes for cylinder 4.

I'm a little irked that it didn't throw cylinder 4 code for me, would've been much cheaper and as easy as it gets to replace the coil myself.

Oh well, $200 out the door and got a full diagnostic sweep...could be worse.
