BC Racing Coilovers

I am looking to purchase a set of BC Coilovers with swift springs, since the rear coilovers have camber plates, will I need to also purchase rear adjustable trailing arms as well or do the camber plates take care of that?

Also does anyone recommend anywhere in particular to purchase BC Coils with the Swift springs?

These are great. I and several other MINIs I know are running them with no regrets.

Depending on how much you plan to lower the car, you will pickup more negative camber, front and rear. If you don't slam it too much, you can get away without installing rear adjustable trailing arms. If you do get too much negative camber, you will need adjustable arms to dial in back to where the tire wear is manageable.

I bought a pair, and they are still sitting in the garage.
Front suspension can use adjustable camber plates to dial in MORE negative camber if you plan to autoX/DE the car. If not, you may want to consider dialing some of the extra negative out to extend the front tire life.

I got mine from Import Image Racing, and they do offer a swift spring upgrade. That's my only regret with buying them, not getting the spring upgrade.

Just so you understand the camber plates are for the front not rear. Like it's been said before, it all depends how much you lower your car if you'll need lower control arms.

I have a low mileage set without sprint springs. Sprint upgrade would run about 450.00 for all 4.

PM if interested

I've been running these also and love them! I did also get 4 - RCA's, but as said before they might not be needed depending on your setup.

Go with a set of Fortune Auto coilovers instead. Much better quality, made in the USA, custom valved for whatever spring rates you want, and amazing customer service. I have the 500 series coilovers with 6k front and rear swift springs at it is perfect. I also have had experience with BC racing and for the money there are better options.

NOTE: These are not standard BC coilovers. They are revalved and paired with swift springs. I don't think you can find a better setup without spending twice as much. Highly recommended!

I would say it depends on what you're doing with your Mini. If it's going to see a lot of track time save for a hefty coilover setup (KW v2 or v3 or Ohlins or something). If you're like me where the car is just going to see some canyons and a $2500+ setup is overkill the BC's won't disappoint. I went with the Swift spring option on mine and I love 'em. They're perfect for what I was looking for and the price is good value. I went through Circuit Motorsports and recommend those guys:

this car is my daily driver so I'm looking for mostly street setup but something i am able to use on the track and will perform well if i ever get time to track it. i do a lot of spirited driving and do some canyon runs when i have time. i am mostly looking for a standard bc coil over thats not revolved (out of my price range) I've heard swift spring upgrade is worth the money. i am trying to stay around the $1,300 range. sorry for the late response, been crazy busy.

the last link is perfect for my price range. you had a positive experience with this site?
