2011 MCS HPFP Question(s)

Hey all, I know this is my 1st post and it is a question post, so don't flame me too bad!

I have a 11 MCS coupe that I'm pretty sure is telling me it needs a HPFP...Ugh...
It has 40K miles on it and it just started to spit and sputter on cold starts. It does it for about 10-20 seconds and then smooth on out like nothing is wrong. Anyway, I'm gonna replace it myself because I'm pretty sure my car isn't covered under the extended warranty deal. Does anyone have the part # of the pump I need? I've searched all over, but I keep getting the JCW HPFP.

Thanks for any help!!

That's the HPFP v10 climber posted and you can follow this DIY:

8/2010 (2011 MY ) - 3/2012 MINI Cooper S N18 engines 13517592429

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/13517592429/

Then follow similar to this DIY:

Thanks

I'd be calling the service manager of your MINI dealer first.. MINI covered mine... I was long out of warranty. Well, 5 years old and 52K miles...

Known issue. I would press the dealer for a warranty replacement, even if out of time/mileage.

OP has an N18 engine. I don't believe that particular extended warranty applies....

They might cost share. Worth asking.

Just an update here. I have to give props to MINI. I called them and they told me that my factory warranty expired on 2/28/15. The guys name was Tim, and he was awesome! He got a hold of Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville, FL, it's the closest dealership to me and it's about 170 miles from me, and they said I needed to have it to them on Friday at 5pm. Well, Tim then got a hold of MINI Roadside Assistance and had them send a truck to tow it to Tom Bush Mini. Well, they called me today and said that everything that needed to be done was done and it all was covered under the warranty!! That was the HPFP, thermostat, oil pump solenoid and something to do with the intake. And they're going to send it back to me, so I don't have to drive to Jacksonville to pick it up! All I can say is WOW!!!
