Well thanks for posting this! I think I got one from ECS. It says it will not ship out until 2/6/15 sooo thats a long time and I may find out that I don't get one either, but for now I'm still hoping. Plus, if ECS didn't have any I don't think they would have let the order go through. Time will tell I suppose.

 

How much was it from ECS?

 

It was $599.99. (now NLA) So yeah, it cost more than if I bought from a dealer. But I would have had to have it shipped anyway as I'm no where near a dealer. I spent about $40 more to get it from ECS in the long run since they are shipping it to me for "free". Basically the shipping as built into the cost of the kit, which I'm fine with since I would have had to spend $200 to ship it anyway.

 

I called my dealer the other day and they told me that there was one kit in stock... but it's in Germany. XD Someone else had purchased their remaining stock of 4 kits the day before I called. I'd seriously expect to see these on ebay in the near future.

 

Just ordered one for a Justa from the dealer. He said it was the last one available and had to be ordered from Germany. Got my fingers crossed.

 

I don't wanna be a downer, but that was three days ago when they told me there was one left in Germany. I'm pretty sure it's gone by now with the rush of orders.

I hope not. I've been waiting on this parts guy all week to get ahold of the right people. He said due to the storm in the east he and his contact could not get good info on the kit until today

 

It looks like I got one! I ordered from another local dealer and I got my processed confirmation. I'll exhale when it actually shows up. $230.

 

Well, the got back to me on my order and they said they ordered it from MINI but they're on "BACKORDER" so looking dire on my end!

 

If anybody here has a clubman, they're blowing out all sorts of kits right now!

I still can't get my dealer to answer me, looks like I'll have to stop by in person. Pretty much assuming I didn't get it now.

 

Looks like some of those clubman kits actually come painted! Thats one hell of a deal!

 

I have a clubman, just ordered the non painted version from them. I've been wanting this kit since ownership but absolutely could not justify paying the retail price.

I can now though!

I agree with always wanting this kit. I have wanted it for so many years, I can't believe it will actually be on my car.

 

fitted our first kit on a customers car and helped her plastidip it to save on paint cost. Total investment ~$600 and 12 pack of beer

 

Looks good! I'm glad she decided all body color, as I'm trying to see as many as possible so I can decide if I want to do body color on my Laser Blue or if I want to do Gloss Black. Either way its not going to be common. Its just so hard to decide. I know I can always dip it all like she did. But I'd like to get it painted first and then dip later if I want. Decisions Decisions.

Went into my dealer and they say they never got the order, so I cancelled it. No big deal, kind of bummed but it does save me a bit of money painting it.

 

Ordered mine today!

Got shot down earlier this morning by my closest MINI stealer, contacted one a little further away. It's on order, they said it'll be here in 1-2 weeks as it had to come from Germany. So we'll see what happens but she assured me it would get here...

It's funny how the dealers all have a different story. Mine told me on Wed. there was only one left in Germany and they ordered it for me lol.
Did they have you pre pay for it? My dealer said they weren't going to charge me until it gets here, which makes me doubt I will ever see it.

 

My first attempt ended in a rejection. My second attempt which I followed my online purchase with a phone call where the manager was full of confidence and absolutely no doubt. He completed the transaction and charged my card so I pray I'm going to see it in about a week. If it shows up, he will forever have my business.

 

If he charged your card I'd say you have a good chance of getting it.
