I think it would work. The JCW is an S with some upgraded engine parts and a different tune. I think a tune on your S would end up being cheaper and better than putting in a different ECU.
Same ECU, different coding, mated to the car. You'd just need to get yours tuned, but for the money of the JCW tune you can achieve way more with an aftermarket tune. Just my 2 cents.
Ok thank you for the help! Now what company should I look at for a tune? The closest big city to me is 6 hours and it's Phoenix AZ. Is there a at home tune I can get?
Lots of options out there. A lot of companies do remote/canned tunes. There's plenty of threads on here if you browse the R56 forums. A tune will change the car entirely 👍
