Need Help Identifying PIN 41 Footwell Module

Installing MINI driving lights on my 2008 S and the instructions don't identify which is Pin 41 on x14260 of the footwell module. Does any one know which one it is by chance? Thanks.
There was a great DIY on the How To but I think mine is different, earlier than his.

Update: I *believe* I have the pin thing figured out, double checked wiring and I also believe that all is correct. But, have no bright lights when I push the stalk forward. I also noticed that when I push it forward it doesn't click, just springs back to the center position. Pull back for flash and everything works. Brights and driving lights. But when i push the stalk forward for brights, no brights, no driving lights, not even a bright light indicator.

When the lights are in the "auto" mode, the 2 opposing beams above the O on the stalk, the Lights On warning comes when you take the key out and the back lights and running lights are on. Turning the stalk to O turns the off. sigh. Any experience out there like this? Thanks much!

This is the pin diagram for X14260. The pins on the bottom row are numbered sequentially from 33 to 51.

However, if you look very closely at the connector, there would normally be markings for pin numbers molded into the plastic. The numbers would be tiny and usually only the first and last pins in a row are marked.

Perfect! That confirms what I have found. Pin 41 is one of the small connectors (small square) while the connector is sized appropriately for the larger slot like Pin 38 which created some confusion. Alternately, the instructions said that the corresponding wire was Yellow\Red. Red\Yellow is at Pin 34 and is a large gauge wire which didn't make any sense either. Finally, finding the right location for Pin 41 there was a small gauge Yellow\Red wire. Unfortunately, I've still got no bright lights or driving lights with the stalk forward. Flash works.

Thanks much rkw for the help and providing the diagram I was searching for! Where do you find information like that anyway?

Are you talking about the OEM driving lights? I don't see pin 41 mentioned in these instructions: http://motoringfile.com/files/R56_aux_lights.PDF. It says pin 4 for X14260.

That diagram was from the BMW WDS wiring diagram manual. Mine was on DVD from eBay.

My instruction states that if you have Xenon then pin 41. There was also a great DIY article on the install in the gen 2 How To which confirmed a Yellow/Red to pin 41. Lots of pics.
I bought a DVD off eBay once for $10 that didn't even cover my car! It was a BMW TIS but it didn't drill down to the level required. The subscription from BMW is pretty pricey.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I'm in the middle of this right now. I have the Xenons on my 2012 Roadster S. I fitted driving lights this weekend using some instructions I found online (which have turned out to be for pre-LCI cars) and that had me put a new connector pin and a wire in pin 4, which seemed right as the connector was the right size. The lights didn't work. I have since found some post LCI instructions that have the same wire going to pin 41. I haven't tried to get in there to move it yet, but pin 4 is a big connector, and pin 41 is a small one. Does the connector they supplied on the harness fit, or am I going to have to modify something?
