Is there a manual for our mini -other than the
Bentley Publishers Bentley Publishers
- thats as good or even better?

The Bentley is the best. I have it and it's well worth it. Took the whole front clip of the car off in less than 3 hours.

Getrag makes the best manual for the MINI.
Midlands, ... not so good.

Does this Bentley manual also apply to 2013 models? I know not much has changed on R56 since then, but the dates stop at 2011 on the cover of the manual...

The Bentley Manual is by far the best. All the info the Bentley has that is for 2011, will be 99% the same on the 2013 so it will get you what you need. There are very few differences between the '11 and 13.
