Hello Everyone! I am a new poster...

I am currently repairing my 2008 S following a vacuum pump seize. The head is currently being reworked by a local machine shop to replace 4 bent valves. In the mean time, I am checking the rest of the engine for additional damage.

I have a couple of questions:

- Have any of you replaced the cam chain assembly after a failure? I am looking for the right procedure to get the cam timing correct

- Anyone have issues with replacement parts from Mini Mania?

Mini Mania is a ripoff on parts that shouldn't be priced over retail. Look elsewhere to get your parts. Good luck

Everyone loves Way. I tend to go to Battle Tuning since they're local to me. Can't go wrong with either. OR ECS Tuning is a good option as well.

 

Sewell and Detroit Tuned are good places too.
