Its the 2nd time that somebody stole all four Valve Stem Caps from my R56 wheels! Is there some way i can prevent burglars from steeling them?

Unfortunately not. And I would not consider any thread locker or sealant of any kind as then when you want to get them off, you won’t be able to.

That sucks! I wouldn't buy expensive "logo" caps just get the standard plain Jane plastic caps.

you could get yourself a trail cam and hide it facing your car. That's only if they keep getting stolen from the same place - work/home.

I camped out in my garage once with it slightly cracked open. Kids were stealing gas from my truck. Sure I could have bought a locking gas cap but I WANTED to catch them. And I did. They were dumb enough to always do it on a Friday night before they went out. Turns out it was a kid two doors down from me. I knew his parents well. Big mistake. Scare the crap put of them ounce and they will never come back.

That's gotta be annoying, do they get stolen when you are home or out and about?

They stole them when i park the car at work, outside by the road. At home, the car is parked in a garage!

Tape razor blades to them. Guy with the bleeding fingers is your thief.

Black grease on the outside works, well has an effect on the thief.

it's kids ....

had this problem in the old VA neighborhood. All disappear off 2 cars TWICE.

Then one evening there was a knock at the door and there was a kid standing with a baggie full of caps.

"Sir, my name is ** and I live down the street. I took your valve caps off your car. I apologize. Please take yours back. I promise not to do it again."

A neighbor caught him in the act and walked him back home. AMAZINGLY, the parents did NOT dismiss as a harmless prank. Mom was standing in the driveway escorting the lad as he made the rounds. We never had the problem again and my faith in the status of American parenting was somewhat restored!

Thanx KilmePT, i know and to be frank this hole thing put me in thought. Does it really matter if i put plastic ones? I think im making a big deal out of this, i guess i shouldn't mind so much about this, its not worth it! We all shouldn't take so seriously bad things that happen to our beloved car!
