Some MINI-specific places will sell the SG with the MINI programming already done.
Thanks

If you buy one from someone else, say for instance, on the forum like I did, You can send it to SG and they will install the mini program free. You pay shipping to them, but return shipping is free. Took about 3-4 days from the time I mailed it until I got it back.

Thanks. I just called them and they told me the same thing. What is the programming for the mini?

To tell the truth? Beats the chit outa me. I just sent mine in before I even plugged it in. I'm using it right now for inlet air temp, water temp, boost and volts. When I get my Cravenspeed OBDII boost and water temp gauges I'll change it to something else.

Here ya go---- Mini specific. The "every vehicle" stuff is like MPG (miles per gallon), tachometer, speedometer, time to flame out (I'm an 'ole fighter pilot), throttle position, inlet air temperature, CEL light codes, and a CEL reset capability.

Here is more info on it's capabilities---

I've had one in my motorhome for about 5 years now. I'm waiting for the scan Gauge folks to break into the secret oil pressure code for Mini. If they do, they will give you the codes to reprogram yours over the phone or you can send it back for updates. There are some open fields awaiting a programming code on the "X" gauge.
You can only observe 4 codes at any one time. To see other parameters at any time- you can "push buttons" to observe them.
