evolve tuning possibly

First.... sorry evolve for making this thread BUT, everybody EVOLVE is conspiring a list for people who are interested in a tune for the R56. Please let them know that you are interested. The more the merrier. We must show these tune companies that there is a market for it so they will invest hard earned money for the development of this software. To evolve... thank you for looking into this market once again.

Doesn't do the '11-'13 a whole hell of a lot of good!

So because it doesn't do the particular engine YOU have, it shouldn't be? People are working on N18 tunes but being as hard as the ECU is to crack and get good tunes out, why don't you relax, let Evolve's N14 tune not get your panties in a ruffle, and wait for the few out there plugging away on N18 stuff.

You have to check deeper for so many tunes out there on the N18 platform. Just figure out what you want specifically.

Why are people getting so aggravated with each other ? We should working together to show interest to the company's so they spend money on RnR so whether its an N18 or N14 we have a way to tune these cars.

I've emailed and signed up on the other post requesting a tune. We need people to be so loud and annoying on this to leave no doubt that there is a major desire for good tunes.

I think they're aware but had some trouble with NA vehicles. I bought their cable and software right before they stopped offering it. Initially I had some issues that I thought were the fuel map but turned out to be a cracked spark plug (at 5000 miles). There is still some detonation at high rpm but that seems to come with the car in general - taking care of it next week with a water/meth injection kit. Likely their biggest issue has been tuning cars on European gas. They really do have higher quality fuels over there and no ethanol. They'd probably get it exactly right tuning to a 12% ethanol mix, which is a lot closer to reality that the stated 10% content.

That weird you say that about there fuel quality. In my endless searching for tunes I stumbled across the tune company in Greece. I mentioned to him about poor fuel quality. He said even tho there fuel says 98-100. It's not in octane rating, it's something else. I would have to read the old email. But he said if you convert it, it's the same but without the ethanol.

Here are the conversions:

I have to admit, most of my Euro experience is from living in Germany, where they are car crazy but most places there you can't even buy "regular" gas. At the high end of the scale, you are getting a little better (higher) octane rating.
