R56 evolve tuning possibly
Still waiting on whether there are objections or not.
I will say DDM Works is currently working on it and I get the whole package back on Monday. Probably the end of engine mods unless I retire her to second (or third) car status.
Just leaves me light weight wheels when these run flats wear out.

Just got official "OKAY" to start a group buy, will post something this weekend!
I just downloaded my new Evolve map. Have had their stage 2 for a while and wanted something specific for my new down pipe and the water/meth injection. Should have everything installed by Monday night.
I'd like to know what Tunning you've got as far as w/m goes, I wasn't planning on tunning for it that's why I got the HFS-2 kit. My mods are similar to yours apart from the fmic but my idea was to have the w/m take care of cooling. I actually emailed Evolve UK months ago and they suggested their level 3 tune +50hp and 90 ft/lb torque.

In my case, there is no accomodation in the tuning file for w/m injection. It is there strictly for cooling and detonation control, which the car does have. What I did want was a map specifically for the down pipe.
Evolve indicated they could include some additional timing advance, but advised against it since I use it as a road car.

I really don't understand what's going on here. Why did they tell you to release the news about the new tool? Why wouldn't Evolve do this on their own? I really don't understand the secrecy here. The tool is probably ready to roll. Spill the beans!!!!
I don't have a new tool, I have a new map and the existing cable. What I kept to myself was that they sold me the map for a NA car.
They didn't quote me specific figures. I just left it to them to do what they do.
A dyno run would be interesting some time, but I'm happy with the car in general without knowing how much power it's putting down.

NA meaning North American.
There is no secrecy, ignitionmodule is a customer that wanted a upgrade his existing tune, it just worked out that we were close to releasing our latest tune to NAM customers. He just asked if he could post and I see no issue with him providing the community with his opinion on it. We will have a official release on a group buy on Monday! Not trying to hid anything
Even though I'm out of the game now, i'm still interested to see what you release. I really love the Evolve tune on my MINI and preach about it to our local MINI chapter. I guess I'm an Evolve ambassador
So yes, North American, which a couple of people jumped in on is where I'm at. Apparently Evolve was having issues with our cars. I still believe it's our low quality, over-ethanol enhanced gas that was the root of the problem, but maybe we'll never know.
Also did not realize there was a sensor type difference between a 2008 S and 2012 JCW. Is it model years for the MAF/MAP difference or markets (NA vs. everywhere else)?

Wait until Monday when they post it on the forums. Should be a list created by Evolve.
I believe from reading this forum that North American cars have a MAF sensor and the Euro spec cars have a MAP sensor I think it's something to do with emitions. Read on a local forum that a guy here got a tune from RMW that made the car dangerously lean because he didn't realise the cars were different.
