07 just a had been setting for 4 hours. Fob would not open door or trunk. Used emergency key to get in and start car. All warning lights came on including no fuel indicator. Also spedo, tach etc. did not work. Only working items were engine & fan, windows as and turn signals but they would not cancel. Any thoughts?

I guessing battery issue too. Is it the original?

 

This may sound strange but.....was the car parked at your home when this happened or were out at a shopping mall? Also was it just that one time or has it continued?

Problem solved. I had a Scanguage II hooked up thru the obc. There was a warning out for Chevrolet that suggested after market products running thru the obc could cause computer lock up. Disconeced the Scanguage II and the battery and all is well. Tried battery only to no avail. Mechanic said that at one time Chev (GM) and BMW designed some electrical items in unison. Thus the correlation of the Chev article and the solution. Anyone want cheap Scanguage II?

 

I use Scangauage, but had no issue. If I experience same issue, your info will help. Thanks!
