Its one piece so you need a new valve cover.

+1 Yes the valve cover is one piece.

Here is a picture for reference when you post up your pic.

N14 Valve cover , comes without MINI emblem.

What cover? You are talking about the valve cover an it is removable but I doubt that is your problems. It might be the PCV hose that might have cracked. Please post a picture of the spot you are talking about because those are the only 2 spots I am thinking of.

This is the line that connects from the rear corner of the valve cover and then goes down below the manifold.

You have the press the sides of the ring to un-clip it.

Thanks and I hope that helps.

I'm working the same issue myself and I'm pretty sure ECSTuning is spot on with the PCV line. I'm wondering however if it could be a faulty Pressure Control Valve that sits underneath the Valve Cover. Any thoughts ECS?

I can even hear the vacuum leak when I kill the motor, and it last for about 10 seconds long, I have several engine codes that come up such as running to rich or to lean. The turbo spools fully at 2500 rpm and the hov is super loud. Any ideas where it's coming from?

Great, you found the leak. Just clips in and there are little o-ring on the ends which you can see in the pics.

Press the sides of the outer ring and then push towards the valve cover hole and insert it, it should clip right on. The bottom is the same way. Follow the dotted lines on the diagram above.

How do you access the clip under the intake manifold?
I cannot see where it connects. I've n '09 hardtop.
Spent 2 hours today looking for that end. Can't find it.

This is the hose delete mod, but shows you where that hose goes above
