NM Carbon Fiber Intake

Picked up one of these when my stock turbo inlet hose cracked at the clamp (problem seen before according to the forum).

I do have to say that it looks great, sounds great, and fits just like they say.....well engineered!

NM Carbon Fiber Intake Pictures

Here are some piks.....the orange piece between the M7 Strut Bar and the NM Intake is to cushion the two items from eachother from engine movement....just a precaution.

Thanks! It seems to allow the turbo to spool up faster and get to peak boost quite a bit faster. You can really hear the BOV cycle as well!

how much did that run you if you don't mind me asking?

Agree on the turbo spool and BOV...LOVE IT. I dont know if the K&N had anything to do with it but I can REALLY hear the BOV now. man...I bought this car for the gas savings...but now I find myself punching it all the time just to hear it lol!

I got it at a discount as I live 10 minutes from NM....so $385. But since I have an extended warranty, the insurance company paid $375 for the stock part plus installation....so $10 out of pocket.

No complaints!

Well either have them put in the same thing that's gonna break or apply the reimbursement towards an upgrade....easy decision!
