you mean get the blades off of the arms?

just push the little clip and slide the blade towards the arm base

after market arms will have adapters in the package allowing you to fit the correct one into the J of the arm

OR are you asking about getting the rubber insert out of the arm . . .

I'll to that tomorrow (dinner is almost ready now)

but better - take my advice and buy some replacement blades at any decent auto part store

replacing the inserts is a pain . . .

OK

from this pic

at one end you'll see some metal tabs

you need to squeeze these so that you can push the rubber part out to the left (in this pic)

you will end up with a rubber blade and two metal stiffener bars

to replace you need to hold the stiffeners into the rubber slots and thread THAT back into the blade .....

Or buy a set of AMCO or PIAA or BOSCH or or or blades which will just click into the J of the arm . . .

replacing inserts is just a PIA

i dont understand where to squeeze so that the old rubber is released? by squeeze you mean to make those tabs to open so that the blade is released? and if so, ill have to do that in all 6 pairs of tabs that the metal wiper has?

ok i got a pair of Guard Wiper Blade Refills and it was a piece of cake. Easy to mount, the rubber was on a plastic guide so there metal stiffener bars were not needed, all went smooth and easy. There was no squeeze needed cause at the end the guide had a fastening mechanism! Thanx a lot for all the help!

I gotta say Capt. That's awesome. The fact that you took the time to put this together and then did another to help a member......your aces in my book.
