Just wondering, is this normal? It was cold that day so, maybe that?

I will assume you are not the one who changed the muffler/exhaust to a DTM style. Thats why is it sticking out.

Very strange...can't believe it took me almost a month to realize it. Well to me it sounds normal not particularly loud. Ricer? Wow and I always complain about their fart cannons and they probably think I'm one of them now lol

Any longer and you could use them as a wheelie bar.

EXCUSE ME . . .
DTM is NOT a R I C E R thing
go look at some parts catalogs for Classic Mini stuff . . .
don't know how I missed this mis-statement earlier BUT
you'll find this style on the JAG XKE which pre-dates 'rice' just a wee bit
impress us - what does DTM mean?
p.s. if it sticks STRAIGHT out the back, it AIN'T DTM
WAY BACK TO OP
you do not have a OE exhaust. Your DTM up kick was not present on any stock .. or until now ... any after market MINI exhaust I'm familiar with. Pics I show are from my 79 where twin DTM is ..... known
bottom line - you gots COOL tubes IMO!

meaning what?
yes DTM is available for a lot today
but DTM existed WAY b4 rice
never mind ... you are right
DTM is totally a r i c e thing
it is NOT possible that today's custom folks are copying a style that's 20,30,40 years old
final point
Mine's rice huh?
