I will read this threat minociously when i will have time.
I would join in, because i have a Mini by Goodwood. I live in Spain, and the car is manual and diamond black. Actually have some modifications, but respecting the aesthetic of this model. (JCW brales and exhaust, decat, Evolve intercooler, Bilstein suspensions).

the car in this morning:
Regards to all!
Nice car and nice mods! I thought that all Goodwoods are automatics...very cool!
I finally saw one of these elusive cars in person today.... Set up pretty nicely.
Had Oregon plates on it.... Does anyone on here own this car...or know who does.
Did not have my phone on me... so no pics... but the owner gave me his email...so I hope to post some soon.
When the owner caught me eyeballing his car in the parking lot... after the awkwardness... he shared his 'build' with me.
Blue color
Full tinted windows
Manual gearbox W/LSD
BBK 18" cross spoke type wheels with Michelin Pilot AS's.
CF Rear lip spoiler
K-Sport Air suspension... which, BTW, I never even heard of before... he said he can control it from his iPhone.
Akrapovic exhaust
F&R bigger sway bars
Engine and turbo upgrades from M70
Some really cool Baja designs LED driving lights that I've never seen before.
Upgrades to the stereo speaker and amp he said.. though the system looked stock.
Was super tastefully done and did not detract from the car at all.
I'm sure I'm leaving some stuff off.
Now, I have a standard for a luxury-performance MINI !!
I know the car you are talking about. It is 1 of the 4 manuals in Reef Blue in the USA a very rare car and sadly screwed up with these mods. There was 1 Reef Blue manual for sale the other day on the LXM facebFac group
The only reef blue Goodwood I know of with cross spokes. It was posted by a guy on 6speedonline, the thread is dead now.

This one looked pretty nice.... and there was no heavy mod stuff.... He said he kept all of the original parts... and could be returned to original easily in a day.... though I doubt the LSD can be changed back 'easily' in a day.
If I had all that luxe stuff from Goodwood.. I'd want it to perform at least as good as a JCW from the same year.
I prefer the original type wheels on the MCGW... and when he pulled off... his exhaust was too loud for me... bet the JCW exhaust would be better.
ECS... That one looks great except for the the black wheels IMO.

Just color and transmission type, thats about it. After that it was dealer installed accessories. I have seen only like 5 in person. all were black RR paint and automatics.
For me...It would be the BLUE color... The RR Black is a bit too Glitter/Sparkle for me .... is the Blue also the same level of glitter/sparkle?

The blue one pictured above was the first Goodwood I saw for sale. It originally was donated to a charity (I believe National Public Radio) and then sold on ebay. It was missing the wood trim, rear seat, trunk mar, floor mats and center console. I always wanted to put some JCW parts on mine, but I never got around to it before I sold it.
