JCW Recaro (Sporster CS) Seats

Alright, so whose got'em? I know gilboyto had them at one point in his R56 but parted out and sold his car I believe. Anyone else have the seats in the leather or alcantara?

I may get the driver side, but interested to see who else has these seats in the states...

I have them (Alcantara) in my R59 roadster. I ordered the car before they stopped putting them in the roadster. I absolutely love them. We also have the Euro GP Recaro seats in our R52 convertible. Those are all leather and I really like them.

The Roadster Recaros are not the same. By far a better looking seat then what MINI decided to put in the Coupe and Roadster,

I'm very positive my friend can order them. I just needa ask. So if you or anyone else is consider getting them let me know and I can get you his contact info. He was one of the first to get the BMW Performance Seats when they were first announced so I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't get them.

They are fantastic...I had them installed in my '07

There are several threads on NAM about them. The best and most accurate for the installation were posted by orangecrush:

Considering that regular Sporater CS range anywhere between 1400-1800 for 1, and that the JCW model comes with the side airbag built in I know they're for sure over $4k for the set. The BMW Performance set which are exactly like the JCW's are $5k shipped.

The best deal I had back then to get a set of Perf seats were $4600 which I almost bought but some **** happened and I ended with with a different setup. Ymmv

There seems to be renewed interest in these seat which is nice as they are fantastic seats. Because this interest has shown up here, I have such a deal for anyone reading this post:

A matching pair of the Euro JCW Recaro seats, in black leather, which are about to go up for sale for much, much less than they would cost you new. These will be sold as-is and the buyer will need to have the DIY talent to do the install. The current price for these new on Schmiedmann's is ~$2000 USD, each, before shipping costs. So the figure of ~$4500 - $5k for the pair, shipped, is about right. I'll give someone here first shot at these before they go to the general public on the NAM market place. PM me for details if interested

Trade Championship Lounge Leather for Recaro Alcantara

Anyone else want the Championship Lounge Leather over their Recaro Alcantara seats? I would trade.

Piece of mind for seats that come from factory and will still carry side air bags and for those who want racing seat support, yet practicality in the long run.

Since you open again after years the topic....
I have ordered the Sportster CS with airbag+heated for my JCW.. However CF back covers are not available anymore besides price would be a joke.
Anyone know a seller with good quality+plug n play CF cover for sportster cs in Europe?
Thank you

Our 2013 MCS was a total impulse buy, mostly because manual, orange and Recaros! Price was decent too. Only 8500 miles and LOADED, I think I only paid about $28k for it in October 2013.
