The Official KNIGHTSBRIDGE Owners Club
Did a few searches and didn't see an owners club of this special edition, so figured I would start one. Only saw 2 other posts by folks in Ontario (etc.) that mention a Knightsbridge, so post up folks. . . .hopefully we can exchange a little info !
We picked up our Chili Red (white roof & mirror caps) Knightsbridge in late Nov 2011 in Moncton, NB (MINI MONCTON)
6sp Automatic (w/ manual) (steptronic?)
It was a birthday present for my wife.

URL for the Knightsbridge. Only in Canada you say? Pity !

One reason you're getting so little response is that edition of the MINI is not offered in the States. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Still waiting for mine as my birthday present, by the way.

Ahhh, guess I should've realized that. Ever since day one (2002) Canada has had a number of Canada-specific editions that never make it to the USA. THis is not always a good thing, as we have things like DRL's that you can't shut off !
We even have an edition called the "CLASSIC" (now that's confusing!)

I have one that picked up Mid April. I love the car. Mine is Chili Red with black roof and mirrors. I've done a few things already: new rear sway bar, painted the calipers, installed a centre arm rest, changed the lenses on the side markers to clear. It is the most fun that I've had in a car. It's a great edition for the cost and the options that they've thrown in. My only gripe is the onboard computer that doesn't display your mileage data.

Cool name for a special edition... Thus intrigued, I went to the MINI.ca site via the link above and looked it over, and I must say I'm a little bit confused about what makes this a "special" edition. The features list on the site just contains a lot of standard equipment and a couple of common options. Anything the site doesn't make obvious?
Please don't mistake my curiosity for "hatin'"... I myself own a "White Silver Edition" that's basically that way (only thing even remotely special about it is that, at the time and excluding buying a black car, it was the only way to get body colored c-pillar trim on a Clubman).

The Knightsbridge is a base MINI Cooper with some added options. Base Cooper meaning that the color options are limited to Chili Red, Pepper White, and apparently Ice Blue although I've only seen the White and Red. The mirror caps and roofs are black but I have seen one with white mirror caps and roof.
The interior is base meaning there is no climate control on the Knightsbridge, only manual controls.
The package includes heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, blue-tooth connectivity, and the horseshoe alloy wheels. Pricing for the Knightsbridge was cheaper than a MINI Cooper.
The only annoying thing for me was the mileage calculations are not available in the OBC. Yes, you can set the preferences for MPG etc., but there is no way to access the information.
There is no labeling on the car saying Knightsbridge whatsoever.
The Knightsbridge is only available for the R56.
I hope that this clarifies the 'special edition'.
