Yeah it definitely looks better in person. It's subtle and yet it actually stands out from behind all the spokes from my CCW's. The brake dust is much less than stock that's for sure.

Finally got home from A-Stan! and painted my rotors... think it turned out pretty good for less than $20 bucks! Saw a guy with caliper covers.... WOW! they are so lame! just need some JCW Decals now! Sorry pics are a little dark.

_+1 on the caliper covers we dont rice the UK. I painted my stock calipers red, on the car, they came out great. My 92 GPs are yellow because yellow goes much better / med blue. Did them on the car too. All good. May add stickers to the front calipers, would prob look pretty cool.

Okay guys, the caliper covers are not for everyone. Also, these things do not come cheap ($180). I was not about to put my time and energy into painting the calipers and I was not about to pay someone to do them for me. With my bad back, I needed to resort to something different. I wanted something to dress the calipers up until I upgraded to a BBK, which I am in the process of working on right now. The caliper covers do the trick. This car has come a long way in less than six months (bought in April 2012) and still has a little ways to go.

Not gonna lie, I really hate the caliper covers. With the $180, you could have gotten SS brake lines in preparation for the BBK you would get in the future. That's what I would do.

I have the StopTech front BBK so I don't have that issue with having to paint my calipers, though I had them repainted custom Alpine White. I may however get the trophy calipers which are 20% lighter than the regular StopTech calipers.

I dont have just calipers. I have the full front stoptech bbk. They were originally red and had them repainted at my friends shop.

FYI, stainless steel brake lines have been installed for a few months now. Any other comments or complaints?

Bear in mind, I have only had this car for six months. I had a plan when I started modifying the car and everything is moving along accordingly.

Well they look great and I'll probably have to copy you when I do my BBK. I can't think of any other color that'll look good on my car.

Well I never really chose the color my friend did. He asked what color I wanted and I said "surprise me". Sure enough he thought it was best to color coordinate with my mirror caps so yeah. Other than that they are amazing. Not just for show since I try to track when I can. I have a set of slotted rotors and new pads I have yet to install.

And you've done a good job in the little time you've had it. All the aero mods I hope you plan on tracking it at least once though.
