2012 MCS - Crackling inside cabin
Hi Guys,
First post here, unfortunately, it's a post about an issue on my new 2012 MCS that I can't seem to figure out what's going on. Just past 1200 miles and no mods or anything to the car. The car is currently at the dealer, but seems the dealer cannot produce the sound that I hear inside my cabin.
There is a crackling/chattering noise at first cold start drive during the day and the crackling is more apparent when driving over any dips, ripples, bumps on the road. It seems to dissipate over time. When the car is warm, the sound doesn't seem to be there anymore. It's just bugging me that the car is brand new and now there's a crackling noise!
I posted a soundclip of what the "crackling" sounds like. You can hear it in the first 5 secs very clearly and it goes on for the rest of the clip.
Any ideas on the root cause to ease my mind? It's bugging me!
Thanks!
