Worth it to extend the MINI Maintenance Program?

Hello all!

Is it worth it to extend my maintenance program from the 3yr/36k mi program to the 6yr/100k mi program? MINI asks for $1,795 for the extension.

I just brought my car into the dealership today for my 15,000mi service and they suggested I purchase it (early on, too) because it's less expensive if I buy it sooner than later.

I know the extension only equates to about 6 free oil changes in total and I will probably change my oil in between those 15,000mi intervals, but the rest of the stuff...

...may be worth it. It shows on the brochure that "spark plug service" occurs at 100,000 mi, but does that mean they do not include that?

I'd love to hear thoughts on it! Thanks!

I don't think we are going to purchase this, I already do the oil changes, and the rest is just buying the parts. The only thing I'm dreading is doing the brakes, but the maintenance program will eventually end and I will have to do them so might as well start now.
I rather spend that money on the EMP:

Have you read the sticky thread at the top of this forum?

Thanks for the info... That may be a good choice as well. I'll have to check out the sticky that I totally overlooked. :(
