When I try to configure a 2012 Cooper S in Spice Orange the JCW package is greyed out under options and tells me to pick a different color. Yet as you can see from the pics there is a car exactly like that here at Momentum in Houston. Also I prefer the Black Bullet wheels to the Challenge wheels. Anyone know what's up?

Yes, interesting, our local dealer had a Spice Orange JCW in their showroom not long ago...

If you configure a Cooper S with the JCW package in an "approved color" and go back to color selection it greys out Spice Orange, Hot Chocolate and Laguna Green. Go figure.

 

Sometimes you just have to talk to the dealer about it. If you really have your mind set on something you want, you'll be able to get it. I remember some guy got a white silver car with a silver roof recently, something that's definitely not available in the configurator.
