Totaled my baby =\. Plenty of parts still good.

Just totaled my baby into a RIVER. I'll be seeing what insurance company says if they cover accessories. If not I'm swapping stock parts back on and selling them. Acessport and Forge FMIC still mint. Will check on the suspension soon. Rear control arms snapped in two =\

But I came out okay. Thank god MINI is a tough little beast.
Just coming around a turn and a deer was there. Swerved a little and kept over correcting back and forth until I was done for. Went down 30 feet. Was almost steep enough to call it a CLIFF. Only the back landed in the river. I'll def be back on here with a MINI. But not for a couple years. If Only a clubman or countryman was more affordable. Any SUV's someone would suggest for around 15k?

Wow! Good to hear you are still able to type! Injuries? Did you hit the deer?

Was your Flight Plan FAA approved :-)

Just added the story up to the original post. I'm just gonna lay in bed for a few days but just came out with a few welts and lots of bruises. My buddy with me came out perfect. But then again his side was fairly good. Driver side was trashed. Car prolly hit 10 trees

I am glad that you are okay. Cars are replaceable, that is why they make more than one of them. You on the other hand are not.

In my area here in the far flung burbs of DC, the deer are out of control! There is talk they are going to up the hunting quota this year.

Glad you are okay, and I hope to see what you do with your next MINI.

You and your buddy are very lucky! The woods have poky things that can go through windshields!

I have heard the term out west, referring to deer as "Rats on Stilts" because they are everywhere, particularly farm fields and golf courses!

Oh yeah. You can see where a tree branch smacked into the windshield and didn't break it or it would have hit me in the face.

And deer are crazy here too!!! They already up'd the hunting qouta in my area.

DUDE! That's one of the worst looking wrecks I've seen in the 3 years I've been on this site. I looked at the pictures first and was thinking "there's no way that guy is alive!"

Glad to hear you're doing okay. It's nice to know these cars can take a beating.

It's a shame since your car was coming along so nicely! I might be interested in the FMIC depending on price. I was going to ask you about the exhaust, but it looks like it got ripped off!!

PM'd for FMIC

Should just be able to hook up the AP and "unmarry" pretty easily before you sell it.

Thanks everyone. Yeah. Came out good.
Looked at the KONIs. Looks great. Will be taking them off in the morning.
$650 with NM lower springs. Or $525 for just shocks. They are 4 days old. And they looked good.

Yeah. Crazy. Passenger side came out with barely a dent. My side
Was demolished. Those side air bags prolly saved my life. I feel so sore where I banged against the sides of the seats. Damn sport seats lol.
