Dad gum it, It did a really stupid thing

Had to go to a meeting downtown which I was'nt too happy about anyway. Had to park in the Mint Street Parking deck next to Panther Stadium. Curbed one of my wheels pulling into the deck, I mean really really bad. And they're those bootifule black conical spoke wheels. Not sure its gonna hold air but dealer has ordered new wheel which will be in Mon or Tues. So today really sucked........

She's calling me back with price. But I have to replace it. Too big of a chunk missing to repair. I'll also have them check for other damage. Just me being stupid. Rushing to make a meeting

That's why they call them accidents instead of on purposes. Been there, done that, we should make up a t-shirt. Or maybe start a new club on NAM. The Official I Curbed My Wheel Club.

Roadside assistance towed my car and took a chunk out of the black conical wheels. Waiting for mini rsa to get back to me on replacement.

My guess is $200-300 for the wheel depending on the dealer.

The R108's are $250 so I couldn't imagine the conicals being much more if any, but I could be wrong.

Lot's of places that repair damaged alloy wheels... You might have your damaged wheel repaired for use as a backup, in case you curb it again...

Here's a link to one place I know that does decent work...

And I have looked around for a better price or even a used set. I have found exactly NOTHING!

Been there, man. I even curbed my wheels the DAY I was going to trade them in on a new set at the tire/wheel shop. Lost a few bucks on the trade in there! He charged me $50 to have his repair guy refinish it.

You had to wait for them to call you back? It took me all of 5 seconds to look it up.

PN 36116787237 LA wheel Crown Spoke #104 $273.03 before any discount. (I get 10-15% for being a BMW CCA member) So I'd look at a price of $232-245

As I recall, I was quoted $255 for silver conical spokes back in June after my little incident with the 4x4 in the middle of I 65. Fortunately my wheels were only bent on the inner portion of the wheel and the outsides were fine. The dealership has a local guy who can straighten bent rims - 2 wheels fixed for $100. Looks and drives great now.
