2 Questions/Seat covers/Window Tint

Hey,
We are looking for seat covers and do not want to sell a body part to get them. Any recommendations???Would like to spend around a $100 for the front seats total...Also what type of window tint should I go with, 3M, metal flakes, color or dye in the tint or not????

Pics of seat covers and or tint would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Personally... Just regular 20% smoked tint at a tinting shop looks great.
And seat covers... It's a MINI! seats look great, so use them =]

Too hot? Hmmm keeping the sun from heating the inside of the car though... Definitely wouldn't say more hot.

I went with 15% tint all around except for the 5% on he sunroof. Here's my post on that.

For seat covers, I went with Wet Okoles which are expensive but have been awesome. They raised the comfort level of the seats for me by a huge amount. Love 'em. Other companies sell somewhat equivalent (although, not as high quality) versions of these you can get near your target price. The quality, extra padding and excellent fit of the WO's is second to none. Here's my post on the WO's.

Have not done tint on mine yet, but the seats do get hot and I went with the Coverking spacer mesh seat covers. $117 delivered from the place I got them. I had sat in the Wet Okoles on a road trip with a friend, and while very nice, on a hot day will still make you sweat like crazy. The spacer mesh are very nicely ventilated and I am very happy with them so far after about 2 months.

I went with the Wet Oakle Seat covers and I really like them and felt they were worth the price. They are very plush and provide more grip for aggressive driving, plus they look really sharp. They also have been very cool in the summer.

I installed 55% regular tint on my MINI and 5% on the sunroofs. It cost me $180 and the side windows meter at 38% with my tint meter. North Carolina requires 35% and I wanted to keep it legal.

On the other hand....for my wife's Clumban I went with 55% WINCO ceramic heat reduction tint, which added $100 to the cost but it was well worth it. Her car can sit in the sun with a dash sunshade and the interior stays A LOT cooler than mine. Her final tint reading was 36% so its still legal. I would upgrade to ceramic tint if you can afford it, just my opinion.

Hope this helps...
