I just got Ye Olde nylon license plate fasteners from Kragen and they don't fit! However, they do fit our Prius. Anyone know what the standard thread and dimensions are for the Mini license plate screws/bolts? They seem like 10-32's, but I'm just checking to be sure. (A search on this site suggested a few sites to buy from, so I'm just looking for size and thread confirmation.)

 

Front or back license plate?
Try metric sizes?

 

They're definitely metric. unibus has a good question - the front plates are normally self-tapping and are a different size.

Edit: Sorry, part 13 looks like it holds the plate holder to the boot. Part 11 is the screw that has the cap on it so it must be the license plate screw.

 

Ah, my apologies: Looking for rear, specifically. I'll probably ask for spares during my next service visit, I suppose...
