orbitant that looks awesome!

I just picked up an 08 BRG Cooper S. I have HC Clubman non-S too. Love having the two in the driveway. They are both just good-looking subtle colors.

I've had my JCW parts sitting in the garage for a while but the pieces will be in paint soon. If anyone with a BRG non-S is interested in adding a little more flare to their car I will have my S rear bumper and exhaust for sale soon, just shoot me a PM.

Just delivered!

My wait is over and I brought home my 2012 Mini Cooper S today. I can now understand why people can't wait to get past that first 1200 miles so you can really give the car some freedom.

I'm enjoying the MCSa and am glad I made that choice. Now I have about a year or so to decide on what I will do with the exterior to add my own flare to it.

So, how do people get the custom pics attached to the bottom of their signature blocks? The cartoonish mini's?

Time to get back on the road! Too bad I need to go to bed so I can function at work tomorrow!

I have the exact same vehicle; have not lowered it yet because I'm worried it will change the ride/feel. Have you noticed any difference?

I honestly couldn't tell you what a stock MCS fels/rides like. I lowered the car with 38 miles on it and never looked back. I will tell you that I recently replaced the Run Flats with a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS and the ride is MUCH better than it was with the Run Flats.

I drive A LOT of miles for work (obviously if I have 28k in less than a year) and I'm very happy with the ride/feel. I'm still on stock shocks too.

Thanks!

I've never waxed the car (afriad of getting swirl marks). I use Eagle One car wash. Two buckets. One for the Tires/Wheels and parts of the car that are on the underside/inside wheel wells etc., and one for the "body" of the car.

Wash it about once a week depending on weather (Seattle).

Wipe of with a real Chamois.

I'm pretty happy with the results I get.

that looks incredible for a car that's only been washed and not waxed. i haven't put a layer of wax on my car either, but was thinking about doing so. i clay bar it every so often and i use speed shine on it after a wash, all with those microfiber towels from costco. but i don't think i've ever gotten results like yours. maybe it's the chamois!

Looking good Car-Fan! Sorry I haven't updated much, and sorry I also probably won't get much time to update anytime soon. I'm away at OCS and have this random computer access right now, planning on graduating in September though so be on the look out!

No new BRG II members? I know there have to be some folks on this board who either have taken delivery and/or have new mods that haven't been posted in the thread yet.

Post those BRG II pics people!

I'm glad you brought this thread up. I posted in this thread when I placed my order but never put up any pics after I took delivery. So here it goes. Here's my 2012 MCS all BRGII. Picked it up in June and added a couple mods the next day! Recently put on some Union Jack side scuttles, but I don't have any good pics of the car with them on.

Just bought mine on the 3rd! Until now I didn't know that 11+ was actually a different color. It's actually a funny story how I got the car. I work at a mini dealership in wi and about month ago we got a dealer trade and I remember looking at the car thinking wow the depth of that BRG is incredible! I just thought it was because it was a black top w black rims made it look like such a deep color but whatever it was I wanted it so I just sold "dr.jekyll" dark silver 02 cooper s and putting "mr. Hyde" up for sale chili red 07 s auto. Now I have my Bonnie my first BRG and she's gorgeous!
