So have any of you thought about bronze wheels? I was playing around in photoshop the other day and I'm going to test this out with some plasti-dip in the coming weeks...

i just ordered my 2012 brgII MCS on 2/13/12. My MA texted me that it went into production the very next day on 2/14/12. I can't wait.

i plan on blacking out the chrome trim. I am going to make some bonnet stripes with the Death Eater skull and snake from harry potter in silver, and silver checkerboard on the roof. (i make all my own graphics)

Hey Miffy, that's a sweet looking BRG clubbie. I have to ask you where you got the "hand wash only" sticker on your rear side window, as I have been looking for it for some time now. Thanks!

Old Chub - Austin,TX
Should get my 2012 Mini Cooper BRGII 6-Speed come the end of next week. Got to Georgia last week so it should be fun to get behind the wheel finally. I absolutely love my '04 Civic, but it has taken some dings here and there and had some of the interior upholstery start to come off. Yet, it's reliability has been nearly adamantine. So it is that there is some leariness involved in getting a new car with new things to worry about, but alas it is that I am nonetheless quite excited to be in a new ride. Has anyone else ordered the Recaro seats? My Mini dealer didn't even know that they come with Airbags, and it seems that most people on the NAM site, that have referenced these seats, are ignorant of this fact too. As it seems they are always bemoaning the fact that these are the ones that made it across the pond, when the ones in Europe look like they belong in a rice burner as compared to the new US ones.

2012 Build:
DESIGN
British Racing Green II Body Color
Black Roof
Anthracite Headliner
Dash Surface in English Oak
Polar Beige Color Line

Rear Fog Lamp

INSTRUMENTS
Harman/Kardon Sound System

PS
I am also picking up the Mini aftermarket armrest, the one that comes from the factory is pretty dainty.

congrats on your new ride! those new seats do come with air bags as they are US spec, a lot of the complaining is because it is such a new product the dealers may not know about them yet and still think people are referring to the old european spec seats which a dealer CANNOT install

Greetings all -

Long time lurker, first time poster...

I will hopefully take delivery of my 2012 BRG II Cooper sometime next week. I ordered it with the black top, mirrors, stripes and wheels.

I pretty much blacked out the interior with the piano black dash, black color line, black cloth sport seats (ordered the Sport package) and the anthracite headliner.

Having said all that, has anyone here (or somewhere else on this site) blacked out their interior like that? I have to admit I was a bit nervous after I ordered it and was wondering if anyone had pictures of a blacked out interior like that.

Anyway, thanks in advance and I will post pics when Basil arrives.

Cheers
Tim

I just did the anthracite headliner, which was an excellent decision. The rest of the interior is pretty dark anyway. I love it.
