What do you all think of the idea of Hot Chocolate mirror caps on a BRGII Clubman with a black roof???

 

I'd say go for it if the roof wasn't black... but to me it seems like it might clash a bit.

 

Sherman has arrived (at the dealer)!! Here are a couple of photos the MA snapped with his cell phone. Unfortunately I can't pick it up until next week so this is all I have for now. It hasn't been PDI'd yet.....straight off the truck.

 

Stopped by the dealership this afternoon to take a few photos myself. Scheduled to pick it up next week (sold some stock that I'm waiting to hit my bank). Man....it's AWESOME!!!!! Exactly how I ordered it.

 

Here's a few more. I'll post pics when I take delievery and then again after next Friday when it gets lowered. Getting the tint done on Monday the 18th.

The BRGII is definitely the BEST color out right now!

I'm ashamed I haven't been paying as much attention to my MINI as I would like, but I got two toys this summer and one of them I'll only have for the summer, been on the water with the jet ski almost every day

Hello all. After haunting this thread for what felt like months, can finally post. My '11 MCS arrived 7/13 and was promptly tinted 7/15. Broad smile ever since.

 

nice looking ride! my mcs originated from escondido as well, but was picked up by crevier for me. btw, what % tint is that? and did you get it done down by escondido/sd? thinking about tinting my windows as well...just not sure how dark i want it. in fact, i'm not even sure what's legal here in cali.

 

Had the tint done by a local shop here in Oceanside, which uses Llumar tint with a lifetime warranty. Went with 15% on the back three and 35% on the front two. Total price was $140. They did a great job and the finished product looks very clean.

 

nice! do people from socal ever have issues with being pulled over for tints that are too dark? i would like to do this, but am slightly concerned about having cops pull me over and writing me up for a tint. also, has anyone considered tinting/tinted their moonroof?

I picked up my new BRGII MCS tonight!! I'll take picture tomorrow, it's too dark out now. ... or I may hold off until the weekend as I'll be installing my driving lights then.

Sits much better, nice. Very sharp looking. I'm dying here. Having to look at MINIS/Dream of MINIS via this Web site. I've ordered mine through military sales in Spain, and it's going to be about a 3-month process. ACK!

 

Picked up Stella 11/4. Tinted shortly thereafter. Still deciding if I want to keep all that chrome. Definitely want to powdercoat the exhaust tips.

 

Very Nice. One of the many cars I "built" online was a blacked out MCS. I've decided, and ordered a more basic Clubman S. Here's to hoping I don't regret it. This picture is surely making me question the decision... Very sharp.
