16" wheel fitment

a friend has a set of koesi 16x7.5 et43 4x100 wheels for sale, that should be a good fit on new mcs right (track wheels)? at most i'll need centering rings.

also, exactly what will happen if i run non-tpms wheels on the car (2011 mcs)? i don't care if it sets a warning light as long as abs still works, and the light goes off when i put the stock wheels back on.

As long as the offset is close to OEM they should work, fit one up first and see how the center works.

The car will explode without TPM sensors in the valve stems.

Special thanks to all the soccer Mom's who never checked their tire pressure, Firestone tires and the rollover prone Ford Explorer for the TPM government intervention in our lives....

Theyll fit fine if the lug holes are large enough. Some aftermarket rims have smaller lug holes and must use 12mm studs... Most usually fit.

Youll need hubcentric rings yes.

Youll be fine without TPMS... light will be on is all. Once you put the other rims with TPMS back on the light will go off

I'm sorry, but we will just have to turn you in to the NTSB (or somebody else official sounding) for removing this life saving device from your car. I hazard to think that you might be coming down the road toward me without them. How could you even consider not having them? Think of all the miles that have been driven by people who were unaware that they were in grave danger. Oh, the humanity!!!

(but just in case, you can make a small square patch from the black tape used by a Brother label making machine to cover the relentless little orange triangle that will lite up forever -- if you can't find some of that tape, let me know, I've probably got a couple of inches left over from when I began my own life of crime, sin, and debauchery)

believe me, i have no love for tpms. but if i mount sensorless wheels for the weekend and the warning light stays on even after the stock wheels are back in place i'll never hear the end of it (it's my wife's DD). and if it disables abs the likelyhood of me flat spotting a tire goes up significantly. all joking aside, can anyone confirm that neither of these will be a problem before i drop hundreds of dollars on wheels/tires? thanks

TPMS and ABS different

TPMS only deals w/ tire pressure. ABS system uses a completely different set of sensors not mounted in the wheel to start with.

I can't handle the yellow light, it drives me nuts! I would get some Tmps sensors and put them on the new rims.
