So i have a sparkling silver Justacooper with white roof/bonnet stripes. Id post pics but its Bone Stock. I wanna change it up a bit but dont have much. My budget is maybe 50$. Should i go with plastidip? What/where does it look best with my combo? Does Plastidip come off? Any other suggestions?

Several of the folks in this forum have done a "Joey Mod" (not sure where the name comes from) that involves disassembling the headlight units and painting the chrome bits black. It works best with the Xenon lights, since there's no reflector on those... if you do it with halogens, just don't paint the reflector. Search the forum archives, and you can probably find some photos and instructions.

The effect is really cool, and the job would come in under your budget.

This is just a suggestion - there's not a lot you can do for $50.

You can ditch your oem chrome grill and replace it with a JCW black grill from Outmotoring for about $50 + shipping. I think it really changes the look of the car.

 

Yea i was looking at the JCW grill as well.

Whats going on with the plastidip? Can you take it off? Where would it match on my car
