cross posting - Wondering if this is normal or if there is an issue. When I start the Cooper for about 5 seconds an exclamation point is seen between the odometer and trip odometer on the tach as noted in the OP. Then it goes out. No other lights or issues. When in the CC-ID menu it shows CC-ID 000 which I am assuming means no issues. No codes are stored either per my ultra gauge

Anyone with insight?

This is because the resistance of the LED bulb and a standard bulb are different.

So to the OP check all your bulbs to see if one or more exterior light may be a LED version. If so there is a way to change that but it take some expensive test equipment and programing knowledge to do so.

I just changed my tail lights to LED... what do I need to do to get the Triangle Warning to go away?

You might be able to do it with the Carly software on iOS/Android and one of their OBDII adapters.

For me -

I needed to reset my clock. It was because I had the battery disconnected while I was working on it.

less than ten bucks if you have something to pry the trim off and some star bits to unscrew the housing. Shouldn’t take more than 5min.

Light bulb burned out

If you continue to get the triangle with what looks like a light bulb inside, check the two bulbs that illuminate the license plate on the rear. I couldn't find a burned-out bulb until I realized there are two bulbs there . . . one was burned out.

I just went thru this - when I replaced license plate bulb, I had to bend terminal a little, so it had good tension.

Tip - Put some doubled up masking tape at the end of a flat stick & use that to get the bulb in place. I couldn't do it with my fingers.

I bet there is a $20 tool they sell just for this.

Was surf shopping, saw this ad.

It seems to me that this triangle/exclamation mark must be common.
