Clutch

Hi all. Quick question as I learn my new toy, and yes this is a dumb question - where the he11 is the clutch master cylinder? I feel like an idiot asking this question, after wrenching on cars for 30+ years. I tried following the steel line up from the trans, but didn't get far, and I don't see it under the access cover that hides the brake master cylinder. I didn't get a manual when I bought the MINI, so I can't check there. Did I just miss it? Where is it?

You've already found it.....

I believe the clutch shares the brake master cylinder.

Edit:

Looked up a parts diagram. The clutch definitely shares the same reservoir, but there is a separate input cylinder.

Since this got me curious, I looked it up on the TIS cd that I got off of Ebay...

The clutch input cylinder is connected directly to the clutch pedal.

Thanks for the parts view. So, the master cylinder is connected directly to the clutch pedal (makes sense, it should be), but it draws fluid from the brake master cylinder?

That's correct. According to the TIS, there should be an outlet that goes out of the side of the brake fluid reservoir. This feeds the clutch.
