Soggy-1, can you send a pic without your hitch and ball on? Want to see how it looks when you are not towing anything and see what you did to make it look "clean". I just bought my first Mini, a MC Camden that is less than 4 weeks old and looks just like yours from the back. After reading about the MiniFini and the Mini OEM Rear Rack, the MDM seems to be the best choice. The previous two look to require a professional installer and more modifications to the bumper than the MDM and seem to be more than double the cost. In addition, did you install the MDM yourself or have someone else do it? I am asking because I don't want to void any warranties with Mini.

I tried ordering the Minidomore receiver hitch yesterday in anticipation of buying a teardrop camper to be towed by my 2006 MCS and reading a few reviews here. Never got an email confirmation of the order from the website and my credit card has not been charged. I tried calling the company this morning and got a message that the voicemail box was full (called twice already) so I can't leave a message. Email so far has not been returned. Looks like I won't be getting the hitch anytime soon and I better start looking somewhere else.

 

I've always had success with MINI Fini. Their products are superbly engineered.

I posted too soon. I got an e-mail from Minidomore today confirming the order and the estimated shipping date. I just needed to practice a bit of patience. I'm happy and relieved that I will be getting the receiver hitch from this company after all.
