Well, this wouldn't help the "Awww! Minis are sooo cute!" sentiment that some wish would be downplayed. A Mini has more going for it than its looks! I'm a girl. I find that car cute. But I wouldn't get one. I'm no longer in High School!

 

Great for a Japanese girl, but I give it a big "pass".

 

I'm sure they work for some, but not for me....

It's one way to make fake hype....

For a Japan only Sakura (Cherry Blossom) version, I would have expected something far more over-the-top cutesy cute--hot pink, perhaps. What's with the white roof? At least make the roof pink. Just putting pink mirror caps on a black-and-white MINI doesn't make it very sakura. This is far too somber for a Japanese girl. Where's the love-love kawaii Japan worships?

 

I must admit it would be better with a black or pink roof, maybe with some little flower graphics... But at least the door stills have flowers!

 

It reminds me of the lime-green special edition Clubbie that's out in the US...all blacked out except lime-green mirrors and lime-green/black UJ scuttles.

 

That's the Rally Edition clubbie (only made 70). Those are cool.

The Sakura edition Mini is awesome too but I agree with Lady G. Should be hot chocolate.

 

They should make a Harajuku Edition and go all out!

 

WTF is with all the clowns?

 

I actually like the floor mats with the small cherry blossoms and pink stitching. Other than that? Meh.

 

They meet in Harajuku park to listen to play music, hang out, etc.

There are also flowers on the rear hatch just below the word cooper.

But as Robin said, this is very mild, heck anyone here in the US, Canada, oh i'm sorry anywhere in the world could get those graphics for $50 or less and make one of their own. I wonder how much MINI is charging for the upgrade.

 

The pink ears on the Dog are kinda cute.

As for the Cheery blossom flower stickers and Carpets.... I'll pass thanks.
I think even the Harajuka wouldn't be impressed by it. Some of their outfits rock!!

 

I asked the ex and she says "yeaaah, kawaii." it reminds her of her pink Vitz.
