Hot off the presses. Oxygen blue is being phased out in March and interchange yellow is going to become available on hardtops.

Also - no more JCWs in pure silver or clubmans with sparkling silver/silver roofs.

Ok, I figured we're getting to that point in the cycle where we're going to start seeing more of the changes, kinda surprised it didn't come out with the HP announcements last week.

O2 always seemed very similar to the SG as far as popularity and Cooper only, and almost limited edition in it's shortened life span.

Meh, I'm not a fan of either color. Although OB was just starting to grow on me.

 

Too bad, I really like the Oxy Blue. Wasn't an option on the clubman though.

I'm glad it's being replaced by another bold color instead of another silver/gray option, but there's already a bold yellow.

Anyway, it's sad to see OxyBlue go.

 

No no no no no no no! IY is convertible exclusive, why can't they just leave it alone. It was bad enough when they made it available on the Cooper Convertible.

 

That's too bad, I think Oxygen Blue w/ White top is a striking combination.

I loved OxyBlue and had it been made available as a colour option on the JCW I would have one sitting in my garage right now but, alas it was a JustaCooper colour only.

Sad to see it go ... Lucky are those owners who opted for OxyBlue as they now have a unique and dare I say rare coloured MINI.

 

Aww, that's too bad! I liked the Oxygen Blue minis!! I wish it had been offered as an S color.

It's okay, though. My Laser Blue is still the best!!

 

I have been dreaming of a Oxygen Blue MINI for years and was going to go FINALLY order it THIS spring...

Is it too late already? I don't want any other color.

Also... is there any official word from MINI where I can find this?

 

Once it's off the configurator it's gone, based on what I've heard from MA's expect the end of Feb, however the problem with that lies within dealer allotments, many dealers already have their allotment spoken for and it's too late to change those, I know there's an O2 on a ship in the Atlantic due to dock any day now though....

 

According to my MA, it has to be through production this week to get O2B. Which means if you didn't order 2 weeks ago, you can no longer order one. *But* your MA can still search for one that's already produced or that's being produced this week.

 

I called and talked to a salesman and he thinks he can still get one ordered for me if I come in this week.

Going tomorrow evening. This is a little sooner than I was ready to buy it, but I hope it works out.
